Our customer service team ensures our customers can access the information or assistance they require in the easiest and most efficient manner.

The Role: 

Marriner Group is seeking to engage enthusiastic Ticketing Customer Service staff to join our Ticketing Services team. 

You will play an important role as part of the Marriner Group Ticketing Services team, assisting in the delivery of excellent sales and customer service outcomes for our clients and patrons. 

Ticketing Customer Service staff provide a welcoming and world class experience for our guests at four of Australia’s major live performance venues – Princess Theatre, Regent Theatre, Comedy Theatre and Forum Melbourne 

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Proficiency in ticket sales and operations via Marriner Group’s ticketing provider’s ticket systems.
  • A high level of customer service to patrons via phone, email and in person to all Marriner Group shows.
  •  Assistance with administering all types of ticket orders including house seats and other producer and promoter requests as required.
  • Responsibility for monies collected at box offices and the reconciliation and balancing of daily sales at the completion of each shift.
  • Efficient handling of all equipment used in the day to day running of the Box Office and ensure that service and equipment faults are reported to management in a timely manner.
  • Assistance and communication with Front of House teams with regards to accessibility bookings and other special seating requests.
  • General administrative duties relating to box office operations and customer service.
  • Work any performance shifts as required.
  • Assist the Director of Ticketing with event builds and other duties as required.

Experience:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role with a good understanding of theatre and live music ticketing practices
  • Ability to operate and understand ticket system functionalities.
  • Exceptional customer service
